Aegina and Loutra Oreas Elenis

May 7-8, 2019

On the second day of my journey I took a shuttle to Aegina (Agina) with my bike but no bags! What a pleasure to ride with 25 kg less. Nevertheless, I exaggerated a little by taking the direction of a very aggressive climb.

Here are some pictures of the island closest to Athens.

The next day, I did what I promised myself not to do, a 100 km! Partly by accident because one of my navigation programs indicated shuttles where there were none and a shortcut was not passable because it passed through a naval base… So 100.8 km to get to the Sea View hotel that bears his name, with a beautiful view of the sea. This is the route I took to get there.

And here are some pictures of Loutra Oreas Elenis, a small village in the Peloponnese whose name means the baths of the beautiful Helen.
